For Siam Takashimaya’s cosmetic corridor, the installation was based on the Flora Cascade light. This design consists of meandering forms, allowing the installation to draw visitors from the entrance through the walkway, undulating in height and decorating the corridor with over 32’000 pin points of lights. These end emitting fibre optic filaments will be peppered with hand folded Flora shapes in waves of white, rose and silver which dance along the corridor in a glistening, organic composition. The swirling forms created will disperse with energy, colour and twinkling lights. These large ceiling panels will all be mirror polished stainless steel, allowing visitors to view themselves in the reflection between the fibre optic filaments and be part of the installation as they walk through the corridor.
