The Laelia chandelier collection exhibited at The Barbican as part of the Designing 007: Fifty Years of Bond Style Exhibition marking the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise. This unique exhibition presents the design, craft and style of a screen icon and provides an extensive retrospective of the ‘making of’ the Bond films. Commissioned by Ab Rogers who designed the exhibition, the Casino Room installation is composed of over 6'000 hand blown glass components. Each piece has been intricately assembled across thousands of meandering fibre optic filaments. Sharon Marston's chandeliers capture as well as reflect the glamour and luxury that surrounds the world's most influential movie brand.
